Our school has around 300 students and 23 teachers. We have students from primary, secondary and high schools. Our vision is to be an institution that provides superior benefits to our country and humanity by making our students adopt scientific and artistic values in line with their superior intelligence and special abilities. Zonguldak Science and Art Center aims to educate scientists, experts and artists who contribute to creative and universal science by providing education in an environment that will allow students to reveal their talents and potentials. We teach biology, chemistry, maths, English, electronics and IT in our school. Our students participate in national and international projects. Our students learn by doing, experiencing and observing.
I studied English Language and Literature at university and I am doing my master’s degree currently on Educational Sciences. I am an English teacher from Turkey and coordinator of our Erasmus+ Project. I have been involved in many Erasmus+ projects and really into travelling, languages
Hello. I’m Fatma Tavukcu. I was born in 1980 in Zonguldak, Türkiye. In 2002, I graduated from the department of “19 Mayıs University, Faculty of Education, Computer and Instructional Technologies Teaching”. Then, in 2008, I completed my master’s degree in the field of “educational programs” at the Faculty of Education of Karaelmas University.
Between 2002-2022, I worked as an “Information Technologies Teacher” in various secondary schools in Zonguldak. Since 2022, Prof. Dr. I work at the Şaban Teoman Duralı Science and Art Center.
In my professional life, I have developed different projects in the fairs called “TUBITAK 4006” and “TUBITAK 4007”. I worked with my students as an executive teacher in Etwining projects prepared on different subjects.
Kamuran ÇATAKLI completed his master’s degree in 2004 at Bülent Ecevit University, Devrek Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Biology, with the subject “Kariological and Morphological Analysis of Spalax leucodon Nordmann, 1840 (Mammalia: Rodentia) in Çankırı Province”. In 2011, he published “Distribution of chromosomal forms of Nannospalax riverine (Satunin, 1898) (Rodentia: Spalacidae) in Çankırı and Çorum provinces” in the Turkish Journal of Zoology and “Distribution of Spalax leucodon cytotypes innorthwestern Turkey” 9th International Conference Rodens et al. There is a poster presentation written in Spatium, Lublin, Polland, July 12-16, 2004. As the coordinator of the 4006 Science Fairs Support Program numbered 417B697 supported by TUBITAK in 2017 and the “Macro to Micro Goktepe” project numbered 118B581 carried out within the scope of 4004 Nature and Science schools in 2018, He served as the workshop leader in the 117B218 “Karaelmas Science and Art Days” 4007 project supported by TÜBİTAK in 2017. He has been working at the Science and Art Center for about 6 years. He is in his 25th year of service in schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. He is married with two children.
